Job Overview

A leading Commercial Vehicles & Equipment company in Abu Dhabi is looking for experienced Auto Electricians specializing in heavy-duty trucks. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems in commercial vehicles. Candidates with experience at authorized heavy-duty truck dealerships or service centers will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic systems in heavy-duty trucks.
• Maintain and repair engine management systems, ABS, CAN Bus, airbags, ECU, sensors, and vehicle control modules.
• Install, inspect, and maintain wiring harnesses, lighting systems, batteries, alternators, and starters.
• Use advanced diagnostic scanners and testing equipment to identify electrical faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical inspections.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Auto Electrician for heavy-duty trucks.
• Experience with authorized heavy-duty truck dealerships or service centers is mandatory.
• Passenger vehicle experience alone will not be considered.
• Strong knowledge of truck electrical systems, CAN Bus, ECU diagnostics, ABS, and electronic control systems.
• Ability to operate advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Good English communication skills.
• Preferred maximum age: 40 years.
• Diploma or ITI in Automobile/Electrical Engineering is an advantage.
